TAFE Outreach programs are closely aligned to the Federal Social Inclusion Agenda ensuring NSW education is accessible to people who face barriers to learning including geographical and social isolation, language and cultural factors, financial hardship, lack of educational confidence, being unaware of opportunities to learn, a disability or family commitments.

Project Objectives

·         Increase community productivity through the:
i.                     development of relevant work related skills for individual community members;
ii.                   provision of staff development opportunities for volunteers and paid workers in third sector community organisations.   
·         Encourage and develop community leadership that promotes resourcefulness, creativity and optimism.
·         Promote and support local sustainable solutions through the establishment of social enterprises.
·         Provide an opportunity for individuals to participate in meaningful employment and work experiences that contribute to community capacity.
·         Provide an opportunity for community members to participate in purposeful education within an inclusive learning environment.
